The extent to which the yarn winds around the storage disc is commonly referred to as the “storage angle” or “winding-off angle.” It is important to maintain a storage angle of less than 90 degrees to prevent the centrifugal force from causing unwinding variances, collapsing the balloon shape, and leading to yarn breakage.
